THE MUTDAPILLY COUNTRY MUSIC MUSTER HISTORY-
In the beginning..
From pulling up a stump for a few country tunes at a 50th birthday party, the Mutdapilly Country Music Muster and Ute Muster has gone from being a barbeque with a few mates in a backyard in the small country town of Mutdapilly, to become a country music shindig for locals and tourists from surrounding districts and a far raising money for sick and disadvantaged Aussie kids through Variety Queensland.
Situated in the Boonah Shire just south of Brisbane, this roundup event has grown from these humble beginnings of a few beers in front of grass or palate stages, to 2008’s 10 year anniversary kicking off with fully staged, live entertainment with some of Australia’s top country singers and attracting over 800 country music fanatics to the event. This unique weekend event of camping and entertainment almost doubled in size just over 2007 and 2008, proving that it is only going to further grow and develop in years to come.
With STO Management Group’s dedication as the management for the event beginning in year 2007, a comprehensive 10 year plan, a few changes to the management structure and the new affiliation with Variety Queensland, the 2009 Mutdapilly Country Music Muster and Ute Muster is set to be the best yet. STO Management Group is committed to reaching the potential of the Muster and 2009 will see bigger and better acts added onto the already long list of attractions including camping, raffles, Ute Muster, licensed bar and BYO areas, kids attractions and much much more!
